cake? Flowers? Road trip? OH MY!

Planning a wedding in another city is hard. I knew it would be. But, everything seems to be working out as planned. Granted we only have 445 days until the big DAY..I KNOW I KNOW..I want to get as much done and out of the way as possible. As you all know we've already secured the church, wedding reception venue, photographer, DJ...I've even started somewhat planning the honeymoon..and i have a TON of DIY projects in the works! I'm a stickler for little details..some of which I'm very excited about!! I've already found GREAT bridesmaids dresses ..but I'm holding off on those till closer to the date so all my wonderful ladies can try those on. Lee has finally settled on all of his groomsmen..he's so picky! So much to do..I'm going to need to make an on-going list just to keep my sanity! Oh I almost forgot..we are in the process of booking the rehearsal dinner, the guest list is almost complete.. AND Lee's mom is busy gathering pictures for me to send to Tyler for the slideshow! AHHH! Another thing I'm trying to get out of the way is my gifts for my bridesmaids..I don't want that to sneak up on me at the last minute so I've already got a head start on that one! I sent each of my bridesmaids a special gift and card asking them to be my bridesmaid..even though they already knew, I wanted to make it official! I've got some awesome girls standing up there with me! Jenny..my bestest friend in the whole world.. (now officially Mrs. Ferguson..haha!) Hope, my also bestest friend, Suzanne...love, My cousin Andie, and my friend Britt for college! we've got two flower girls..Lily and Lexi..and one ring bearer so far..Mason! We might even be adding on another bridesmaid and groomsmen..but I haven't asked her yet because I haven't made up my mind! :) Wow this is really all over the place! Ok so NOW, I've made appointments in Roanoke for the same weekend ..late summer..for the Cake/tasting, and the florist! The florist is incredible and comes highly recommended and loved! Can't wait! My friend Brandy will be coming along for the trip! LOVE HER..she's like a big sister..she's already trying to set me straight and make me stick to my budget..PSHHHH! I'm going to give her a VIP tour of Roanoke..she's never been west of Williamsburg!! (well she used to live in Michigan) when she was younger..but she's longing for some pretty mountains! It's going to be a girls gettaway..and yeah we'll throw in a little wedding plannning! Anyway..that's it for now..stay tuned!! :)
