Our Honeymoon!

We have officially booked our honeymoon!! This has been an uphill battle for us! First of all our money has been exceptionally tight lately because the cost of living out here at the beach is insanely high. We have an incredibily detailed budget that allows us very minimal spending money. We booked our wedding super far in advance not only so that I would get the reception hall and the church and photographer that I wanted but also that we would have ample time to pay for everything. With minimal spending money we have to buy things for our wedding a little at a time. We have our parents helping with a LOT of it but there's a lot we agreed responsible for too. We originally imagined a lavish honeymoon somewhere like Ireland or Hawaii...of course I think we both knew that would never happen and now with our budget we were planning something much smaller. Also, we just spent an amazing week in Mexico with all the amenities and newlywed couple could ask for so we were pretty much in agreement that would could go a little more low key on our honeymoon. However, the thought crossed my mind to do an Alaskan honeymoon because Lee wants to go so badly but that didn't work out in our favor either. When it all came down to it we decided for something a little more cliche but something that is also fun...we chosed..ahem..DISNEY! One reason we chose this is because we've been wanting to do disney together for awhile now and actually had plans to go back in March. With the move and everything it just didn't work out and we both feel that we're still meant to go..so..after doing a lot of research. We chose a wonderful resort! If you look at different websites on tips and how to honeymoon in disney..it can be pretty mind-boggling..there's so much to do and so many different ways to do it. We were going to stay at a disney resort but figured if we stayed close to disney it would be a little cheaper than staying on site and we could still get transportation or be within walking distance without having to pay to park! ENTER...my parents. My parents found us an incredible villa to stay in for a GREAT rate that I guarantee you wont find anywhere else. We're using their timeshare. I told Lee about it and the price and its incredibly affordable for us. When I called back to verify that we would accept the resort my mom said..consider it a wedding present from us!! ARE YOU KIDDING?! Now our honeymoon is paid for and we can cross it off the list!! THAT's a big one to cross off..its booked..paid..and just waiting for us. The only problem is..it's a year a way and all I'm going to be thinking about is Florida...let the planning begin!!
